Stainless 302
Stainless 302 is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel available in the annealed and cold working condition. Type 302 is higher carbon than previous Type 304 and 302A stainless steels. Many apps have switched to Type 304 with improvements in annealing technology. Type 302 is non-magnetic in the annealed condition. but become magnetic due to cold working
Type 302 is resistant to corrosion in a variety of environments and its corrosion properties are similar to 304/304L stainless steel. Its susceptibility to carbide precipitation during welding limits the use of Type 302 in some applications. and use 304L due to its lower carbon content for welding applications.
Grade 302 stainless steels are slightly higher carbon versions than grade 304 alloys, which are more common in strip and wire forms. This product is a standard specification for chrome and chrome-nickel stainless steel plates, plates and strips used for pressure vessels as well as general applications.
feature
Easy to weld with excellent weld ability.
Excellent strength and toughness in high temperature

Applications
Common 302 stainless steels are designed to have greater corrosion resistance than 301 stainless steels. 302 stainless steels are widely used in the forming, stamping, turning and wire forming industries. With a lower percentage of carbon than 304, stainless is designed to limit carbide precipitation. This type of stainless steel is often used for high temperature applications.
